EVERY ANSWER
Every Answer is a multidisciplinary project comprising a written piece, a performance, a stop-motion animation, and an artist’s book. Framing the artistic process as an act of resistance to established structures of meaning, the work explores how stereotypes are produced through repetition and redundancy within the interplay of social and political power dynamics.

Every Answer (Chapter One) is a speculative text that challenges stereotypes of violence and power through repetition and ongoing recontextualization. By dipping fingertips into black and red ink, the research later developed into a performative work, Chapter One. Typing Missed Words, producing gestures and sounds that shifted the focus from the written word to the embodied process.

Every Answer (Fil Rouge) draws a parallel between the ways perception is constructed and how the stop-motion animation process itself configures and reconfigures visual reality. The act of questioning is embodied through an Italian hand gesture—here used as a form of resistance to rigid, ‘suited’ certainties, emphasizing its symbolic connection to ‘meaning-wandering’.

Every Answer: Masterpieces of Eloquence addresses cultural stereotypes by examining the role of Western institutions in history and the decolonization of knowledge. Through the deconstruction of a 1911 book published by the International University Society, "Crowned Masterpieces of Eloquence: Representing the Advance of Civilization", the work explores the politics of knowledge and its theoretical foundations in Western thought.
